Australian Tea Tree Antiseptic Oil is Our Antiseptic Tea Tree oil is a 100 percent pure essential oil. It is a great natural antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal. It is suitable for cleaning minor cuts, grazes, insect bites to reduce redness and swelling, rashes (such as shaving rash), spots and athletes foot.
Although Tea Tree Oil is gentle enough to be applied to healthy skin, it can become sensitized to such a potent substance; it is possible to use pure Tea Tree oil on small areas of the skin for short periods but we recommend performing a patch test* before application for larger skin areas we recommend diluting the oil (i.e. with a carrier oil), or choosing one of our specially formulated Australian Tea Tree products such as antiseptic cream, spray, blemish gel or lotion.
Directions for Use
For general and antiseptic use, apply one or two drops of oil into cotton wool or swab or dilute in 10ml carrier oil, apply as required. For aromatherapy add 4 to 6 drops to a bath or vaporiser or dilute in 10ml carrier oil. A skin patch test is recommended for first time use and people with sensitive skin.
